Euderos

Terms

The terms you agree to by using Euderos.

We've tried to write these in language an adult can actually read, while still being binding. Where a specific legal framework requires precise wording, we use it; the rest of the time, we use English.

Last updated: May 29, 2026.

The short version

Euderos is provided by Euderos Inc. (referred to here as “we”) to you as a service for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use it lawfully, you're confirming you're 18 or older, and you accept that the content is for general reflection — not professional medical, psychological, or legal advice. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. Either of us can end the relationship at any time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if that's higher) to use Euderos. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may verify age by methods including but not limited to the birth year you provide during onboarding; if we have reason to believe you do not meet the age requirement, we may suspend or close the account.

Your account

You're responsible for the email and password associated with your account. Don't share them. If someone else gains access to your account, write to support@euderos.com immediately.

You may have only one account. Don't register on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent. If you sign up using an email you don't control, we may close the account.

The content we provide

The content in Euderos — daily writing, discovery modules, framings, and recommendations — is for general personal reflection and education. It is not professional medical, psychological, legal, or sex-therapy advice. Specifically, it is not a substitute for a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical professional. If you're in a relationship that is unsafe, or if you're experiencing a mental-health crisis, please reach out to qualified help.

A short list of free, confidential resources we trust:

If you are in immediate physical danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US).

We do our best to make the content thoughtful and accurate, drawing on the work of recognized authorities in the field (Esther Perel, Emily Nagoski, John Gottman, Sue Johnson, and others). We may revise the content from time to time. We can't guarantee any particular outcome from using it.

The content you write

What you write inside Euderos — reflections, notes, journal entries, check-in notes, feedback — belongs to you. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display it to you (and, if you explicitly share with a partner, to them) for the purpose of operating the service. We don't use your writing to train models. We don't use it for marketing. We don't use it as material for derivative work without your explicit, separate consent.

Conduct

Don't use Euderos to harass anyone. Don't use it to coerce or pressure a partner. Don't use it to threaten violence against yourself or anyone else. Don't attempt to access another user's account or data. Don't scrape the service. Don't use any of the content commercially without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. In serious cases (specifically: credible threats of harm, child safety concerns) we may report to relevant authorities; doing so is at our discretion.

Payments and subscriptions

Euderos is currently free during a closed beta period. If we introduce paid subscriptions later, we'll notify you and will not begin charging without your explicit consent. Any paid plan will disclose price, billing cycle, and refund policy clearly before you confirm.

Communications

Email. By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you at the email address you provided about your account. This includes things you can't reasonably opt out of and still have an account: confirmation of sign-up, password resets, security notifications, material changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, billing notices if you have a paid plan, and notices required by law.

We may also send occasional product updateemails — new features, editorial direction, things we think you'd want to know about. You can unsubscribe from these at any time without affecting your account; we use a one-click unsubscribe link in every product-update email. We do not send marketing or promotional emails on behalf of third parties. We do not share your email address with anyone for marketing purposes. Ever.

Phone numbers (forward-looking). Euderos does not currently collect phone numbers. If we ever add a feature that requires one — for example, optional SMS reminders or two-factor authentication — collection will be fully opt-in, with its own separate consent step at the time the number is provided. Specifically:

  • You will be asked to give your phone number for a specific stated purpose. Giving it for one purpose does not consent to use for any other.
  • If we ever send SMS messages, you will receive a clear disclosure that message and data rates may apply, and you will be able to reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from a given message channel.
  • We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing, and we will not use your number for marketing-flavored messages without a separate explicit opt-in beyond the one you gave for the functional purpose.
  • You can remove your phone number from your account at any time from account settings without affecting the rest of your account.

These commitments apply prospectively. Until the day we add a phone-number feature, this section is a forward-looking promise.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from account settings. Closing the account triggers the deletion process described in our Privacy commitments.

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, or that we have reason to believe was created by a minor. We will give notice where we can.

Inactive accounts

We treat dormant accounts as a security and privacy liability, not an asset. The longer an unused account sits, the longer a credential is available to be guessed or breached, and the longer encrypted writing sits behind a key that has no living person to advocate for it. So: if you go fully dormant for an extended period, we will eventually delete your account.

Specifically: after 18 months of no sign-ins, we begin a six-month warning window before deletion. During that window we will email you at the address on file at least three times — about 6 months, 3 months, and 1 month before deletion. Each notice tells you exactly when deletion will occur and explains that you can keep the account simply by signing in.

To keep your account, sign in. That resets the dormancy clock. You don't need to journal, check in, or do anything else — a sign-in is enough.

If you don't respond to the warnings, your account is deleted at the end of the window using the same process described in our Privacy commitments. Before deletion, our final warning email includes a link to generate and download your data export — so you have the option to keep your writing even if you don't want to keep the account.

Activity is measured by sign-in events. If the email on file is no longer one you check, please update it from account settings before going quiet for a long stretch — otherwise the warnings won't reach you.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

Euderos is provided “as is” — we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content will be suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Euderos Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including consumer-protection statutes in your jurisdiction).

Disputes

We hope it doesn't come to a dispute. If it does, please write to legal@euderos.com first; most things can be worked out in conversation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and we agree that any claim arising from or related to these terms or your use of the service will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and that any litigation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

You retain all rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. Nothing in this section limits those rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and give you a reasonable period to review them before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you don't accept them, you can close your account.
